API Programmer's Manual

Using the Acqueon Workspace JavaScript APIs, you can integrate Acqueon Workspace features with your own content and imagery for display on web apps.

This manual provides information about each API, its input parameters, and description about the method. The Acqueon Workspace JavaScript API consists of the below integrations:

• Amazon APIs – These APIs provide agent desktop functionality that includes call controls, agent state change, configuration information, etc. with Amazon Connect (Inbound) and Campaign Manager integration (Outbound).

• Cisco APIs - These APIs provide agent desktop functionality that includes call controls, agent state change, configuration information, etc. with Cisco Finesse (Inbound and Outbound).

• Campaign Manager APIs – These APIs provide functionality for building the business widgets to integrate with Campaign Manager.

• Salesforce APIs - These APIs provide functionality to synchronize data with Salesforce.

Pre-requisites

Core Gadget: Core gadget is the main/primary component of Acqueon Workspace that helps communicate with all the widgets/gadgets using a publisher-subscriber pattern. This also helps communicate to various other backend sources using their JavaScript library or their REST APIs (e.g., Amazon Connect, Cisco Finesse, Salesforce, Campaign Manager, and Acqueon Workspace Server component). The following core components are installed during the installation of Acqueon Workspace on the server:

• Salesforce Core

Scenarios to use Core gadget:

• When using Acqueon softphone along with your custom Widget.

• When using your custom softphone along with your custom widget.

• When using your custom softphone along with the Workspace widgets.

Layout Configuration

Core widget and custom softphone/business widgets to be added as part of the layout in Acqueon Workspace Admin App. For more details, refer Layout Designer.

URL Allowlisting

Core widget URL and custom softphone/business widget URL must be whitelisted in Acqueon Workspace Admin App. For more details, refer the Acqueon Workspace Configurator User Guide document.
