Display Variables

Call Variables are pieces of data stored in a dialer. For example, Contact ID, Customer Account Number, Contact Number, First Name, Last Name, and more.
Use this section to configure the call variables coming from the Five9 to your Workspace instance.
Click Display Variables in the left navigation menu to see the Display Variables screen. The application displays all the variables configured, one variable to one tile.
To add a new call variable, click the +Add button. Complete the following information:
Name - Type a name for the call variable.
Type - From the dropdown list, select a type. The available options are:
Inbound - Select if the variable is a for an Inbound Call.
Outbound - Select this if your variable is for an Outbound Call.
Add Queue - If you have selected Inbound as the call Type, add queue(s) from where the call was routed. Use the search box to search for a specific queue. Click Add. You can add multiple queues for this variable.
Add Campaign - If you have selected Outbound as the call Type, add campaign(s) from where the call was routed. Use the search box to search for a specific campaign. Click Add. You can add multiple queues for this variable.
Click Save to complete adding the call variable.
Managing Call Variables
All the configured call variables are displayed, one each to a tile. Each tile has options to manage the call variables. You can edit, delete, or copy the call variables.
To edit a call variable:
Click the Edit icon on the call variable.
Update any or all the Add Campaign or Queue, Key Variable, and Display Name fields.
Note:
You cannot edit the Name and Type fields.
c. Click Save to complete.
To Delete a call variable:
Click the Delete icon on the call variable tile.
In the confirmation dialog box, click OK to complete deleting.
Note:
All information relating to the call variable is deleted. This is irreversible.
To Copy a call variable:
Click the Copy icon on the call variable tile.
In the dialog box, type a name for the new variable.
Click OK. The copied variable appears as a new tile on the Variable page.
You have now completed configuring Five9 for your Workspace.
