    Article summary

    This section helps you configure channels. To do so:

    1. Click the Channel Configuration tab.

    2. Select Application and click the Edit button.

    3. Complete the fields as below - those marked with as asterisk* are mandatory fields.

    4. Enter a Name for the application.

    5. Add a Description for the application.

    6. In the Settings section, click +Add Main to complete configuration parameters.

    IsHighAvailability

    This indicates if the instance has a standby to take over automatically if the main application fails. Set as false.

    Set true only if customer uses UCCE.

    Mode - Add the following parameters after clicking the +Add Sub button.

    CALL_BY_CALL

    This setting is for agents using non-tethered Connection.

    NAILED_CONNECTION

    This setting is for agents using tethered connection.

    1. Click Save.

    2. To delete any sub configuration, click the corresponding Delete icon.

    3. Click Preview to view the configured parameters in the preview mode.

    Ensure you restart the Cisco Admin service every time you make changes.
