    Article summary

Chatbot Credentials allow administrators to configure a chatbot account, such as Amazon Lex, within the system, to enable advanced conversational interfaces. This configuration is especially useful for integrating chatbots into features like 2-way SMS, where users can interact with the system through natural language conversations.

    • Seamless Communication: Enabling automated conversations through SMS or other channels, providing an interactive experience for users.

    • Integration with AI Services: Supporting AI-powered services like Amazon Lex, which uses advanced natural language understanding (NLU) and processing to handle user interactions effectively.

Example: A bank or credit card provider notices unusual charges on a customer's account. The chatbot sends a verification SMS, allowing the customer to respond (such as Yes or No) to authorize or deny the charge. Upon receiving the customer's response, the provider takes the appropriate action, such as approving or declining the transaction.
