Configuration

You can use the Amazon Administration application to configure the core with Amazon Connect and define the call variables. It gives you an option to either enable or disable outbound calls in the softphone.

Basic Configurations

The following are the basic configurations:

• Configuration for inbound calls and outbound calls - You can use this to provide the configuration parameters required to interact with Amazon Connect and Campaign Manager. Using the instance URL, the softphone interacts with Amazon Connect while the Campaign Manager service URL enables the outbound dialing capabilities.

• Call variables for inbound and outbound calls - You can configure call variable parameters such as Queue name, key variable, and display name. You can also configure how a call variable should be displayed on the softphone.

• Configuring floating toolbar in vertical and horizontal layouts - You can integrate third-party applications to the vertical and horizontal layouts. The toolbar is displayed on the bottom border in a vertical layout and on the right border in a horizontal layout. The floating toolbar position is fixed to the application window. However, you can resize the toolbar.

    To set up Admin Configurations, follow these steps:

1. Log in to Workspace Admin using Administrator privileges to access the Amazon Admin application.

   

2. Navigate to the Configuration tab and complete the information in various sections as explained in the Amazon Connect Settings, Others, and Salesforce Click-to-dial Configurations sections.
