Configuration for Embedded Integrations

To configure embedded integrations, perform the steps in this section:
Follow the steps 1 to 3 mentioned in the Configuration for SDK Only Integrations section.
Navigate to the Private Genesys Cloud Embeddable Framework integration tab and click Install. The Details tab is displayed.

You can also search using the search option.

Enter the following information in the Details tab,
In the Integration Name field, enter the name of the cloud embedded client application. This is a mandatory field.
a. In the Notes field, enter the additional information on the client application. This is optional.
Click Save.
Navigate to the Configuration tab and click the Properties section.

Enter the following client application properties in the Properties section,
In the framework.js.File field, click Click to Upload and select the framework file that you want the Genesys Cloud Embedded Framework to load, which serves as the client-side configuration file. You can also drag and drop files here.
The JavaScript required for configuring the framework.js file is embedded as a text file below:
Copy the content from the text file to a notepad, make the required changes, and upload the content as a framework.js file.
Note:
The Client ID must be updated in the Framework.js file before uploading.
In the Group Filtering field, enter the list of groups whose members can see this specific application. If no group is specified, then all the members can see.
Click Save.
OAuth Configurations for Embedded Integrations
OAuth (Open Authorization) in the Genesys Console app allows administrators to create and manage OAuth clients to securely authenticate and authorize third-party or internal application integrations with Genesys, without exposing user credentials.
To configure OAuth for embedded integrations, follow the same steps 1 to 5 mentioned in the OAuth Configurations for SDK Integrations section.
Note:
The Authorized Redirect URL is different for Embedded and SDK integrations. For Embedded Integrations, use the following Redirect URLs to configure the softphone: https://apps.usw2.pure.cloud/crm/embeddableFramework.html
