Configure Amazon Chime

This is applicable only for Tethered model.
This section defines the configuration for Amazon Chime Voice. To use Chime Voice connector for Nailed call connection to Agent, you must create Amazon Chime Voice Connector service in same region where Amazon Connect instance is running.
Perform the following steps:
Login to AWS Console where Amazon Connect Instance is available.
Go to Amazon Chime SDK Service.
Go to Voice Connector and click Create new voice connector.
Enter a Voice Connector Name.
Select a region from the AWS region dropdown.
Select the Encryption as Enabled.
Click Create. Open the newly created Connector.
From the General tab, share the Voice Connector ID to the Campaign Manager Team.
In the Termination tab, select the Enabled for Termination status and share the Outbound host name to the Campaign Manager team.
In the Allowed hosts list tab, add two IPs of the Amazon Connect stack provided by Campaign Manager.
Example, 55.203.60.23/32. The default value for Calls per second is 1 and leave it as is. To increase this, contact AWS Support.
In the Calling Plan field, select the countries required for outbound dialing. For example, United States of America, Canada.
In the Credentials section, click Create.
Create a New User and share the details to the Campaign Manager Team.
In the CallerID override section, map the Amazon Chime phone number. To procure a phone number, refer to https://docs.aws.amazon.com/chime/latest/ag/provision-phone.html.
To port the phone number into Amazon Chime, refer to porting.html.
Click Save.
Disable the status in the Origination tab.
Go to the Phone number tab.
Map the procured phone number in this tab.
Go to the Logging tab.
Activate SIP message and Media metric logs.
Go to click Voice connectors and click Global Settings.
Click Call detail records. For Voice Connector Configuration, select any S3 bucket name that is not encrypted with custom KMS Key. For more information on managing Amazon Chime configuration, refer to voice-connectors.html.
