    Article summary

Outbound campaigns are used to dial customers in lists that you create and to deliver the calls to the agents that process the calls. The dialing process is typically handled by the dialer. Outbound campaigns may use one of four dialing modes: the predictive, power, or progressive dialer modes to dial through a list of contacts and deliver connected calls to your agents. An additional Preview Dialing Mode allows agents to preview contacts and individually dial their numbers.

    1. Right-click Campaigns and select Add Campaign.

    2. Enter the name for the new campaign and click OK.

    3. Select the type of campaign, Outbound or Autodial.

    4. Click Create Campaign. The new campaign is added to your Campaign folder.

    5. Configure the Connectors.

    6. To open the campaign properties, right-click the campaign name and select View Properties of <campaign name> or double-click the campaign name in the list.

    7. Go to General > Advanced Mode, select the Profile from the dropdown list.

    8. Go to the Skill tab to specify a Skill that matches the Agent Skills.

    Note:

If you create a Preview Outbound Campaign, after creating the campaign, go to Properties > Disposition and remove the Dispositions created by the system in Five9 VCC.
