    Article summary

    You can configure the outbound widgets that present the customer data to an Agent during the call using these settings. Once configured, the widgets are loaded inside a Lightning Web page.

    1. Log in to Salesforce as a System Administrator.

    2. Select the app AD Admin from the App Launcher.

    3. The AD Admin screen opens.

    4. Complete the following in the Add Widget URL section.

      1. Enter a Name for the widget.

      2. Enter a URL for the widget. Each widget is a unique application and has a unique URL.

      3. To show the widgets in the Lightning variant of Salesforce, select the Add in lightning page checkbox.

    5. Click Submit. The settings are common across for all agents using SCV.

    6. Once the widgets are added, you can edit the existing data. Click the Edit button for the respective field. Make changes and click Save.

    7. To remove a widget that you have already added, click the Delete button. Click Save.

    8. Refer AD for Outbound Widgets_Installation Guide for the widget URLs and widget dimensions to be configured.

    9. To configure the Preview widget URL in the utility bar, complete the following:

      1. Enter the Widget name in the Widget URL Name field.

      2. Enter the Preview widget URL in the URL field.

      3. Select the Utility Widget checkbox.

      4. Click Save.

      Note

      The preview widget appears in the Utility bar only after you complete the utility bar configurations in the upcoming sections.
