Configuring a Source

To configure a Source, follow these steps:

1. In the left-side navigation pane of the Home page, click the Sources tab.

2. Click + Add New.

3. In the pop-up window, provide a name for the source in the New Source Name field. The source dropdown menu contains the list of connections that were created so far.

   Note

   The source name cannot contain spaces and special characters other than hyphen and underscore.

4. Select the Connection for which you want to configure a source. Let’s consider a salesforce connection for example.

   

5. Click Create.

A source is created successfully. The page displays the source that you created and all the sources that were created so far.

Now that you have created a source, let’s map its fields.
