Configuring a Source

To configure a Source, follow these steps:

1. In the left-side navigation pane of the Home page, click the Sources tab.

2. Click Add Source.

3. In the pop-up window, provide a name for the source in the Source name field.

   Note

   The source name cannot contain spaces and special characters other than hyphen and underscore.

4. From the Connections dropdown list, select the Connection for which you want to configure a source. The source dropdown menu contains the list of connections that were created so far. Let’s consider a salesforce connection for example.

   

5. Click Create.

A source is created successfully. The page displays the source that you created and all the sources that were created so far.

Now that you have created a source, let’s map its fields.
