Connection

This setup is where you provide the authentication details to establish a connection between Salesforce and Acqueon Workspace. This helps you to fetch the objects and fields from Salesforce. Fetching objects and fields from Salesforce ensures that the integration uses the correct data, supports custom objects and fields, and maintains accuracy and security.

Note:

All the fields mentioned in the connection page are needed to map the required objects and fields from the Salesforce account in the Salesforce Org.

On the Connection page, the following fields are displayed:

1. Login URL – Enter the login URL generated from your Salesforce Org. This URL defines which Salesforce account connects with Acqueon Workspace.
   Example: https://test.salesforce.com/services/Soap/c/58.0/0DF010000008Qhg.

2. User Name – Enter the user name of your Salesforce account in the Salesforce Org from which the object details are fetched.

3. Reset Password – Select this checkbox if you want to enter the updated password for the Salesforce account. If left unchecked, Workspace will continue to use the existing password.

4. Password - Enter the password of the Salesforce account used by Acqueon Workspace to fetch the object details.  

5. Token – Enter the Salesforce security token. The token is generated in Salesforce and is required along with the password to establish a secure connection.

   Below are the links required for generating the token from Salesforce.

   2. Salesforce Lightning: https:// < Salesforce fqdn>/lightning/settings/personal/ResetApiToken/home.

      Note:

      The domain ID in the links varies depending on the customer’s Salesforce environment.

Click Save & Next to navigate to the Objects process page.
