Deleting Segment

On the Segments page, created segments are listed along with their descriptions. In the Actions column, a delete icon is available next to each Segment. Clicking this icon prompts a confirmation pop-up to delete.

Important:

You cannot delete a segment that is mapped to a Acqueon Campaigns destination. In this scenario, remove the campaign mappings to delete the segment successfully, as mentioned below.

Segments can be deleted either individually or in bulk.

Deleting a Segment Individually

Follow these steps to delete a segment individually:

1. Navigate to the Segments page.  

2. Click the delete icon against the segment that you want to delete.

   1. If the segment is not mapped to any Campaign, a notification message appears to confirm the deletion.

      1. Click Delete. A confirmation message appears.

   2. If the segment is mapped to a Campaign, a notification message appears prompting you to remove the mapping to proceed with the deletion.

      1. Remove the mapping and repeat the above steps to delete the segment.

         Note:

         • For steps related to deleting the mapping, refer to this topic.

         • List ID is nullified after the mapping between segment and Campaign is disabled.

Deleting Segments in Bulk

Follow these steps to delete segments in bulk:

1. Navigate to the Segments page.

2. Select the checkbox against each of the segments that you want to delete.
   To delete all, select the checkbox in the column heading.

3. Click the delete option on top of the Segments page. A notification message appears.

4. Click Delete. A confirmation message appears.

   Note:

   You must select at least two segments to use the bulk delete option.
