Activating and Deactivating Segments
Suppose you have segments that do not require continuous processing, deactivating such segments reduces the unnecessary processing load and cost. Key events related to changing the segment status are as follows:
When a segment is deactivated in a particular tenant:
Segmentation stops.
Mapping between the segment and Campaign halts.
List ID is nullified.
When a segment is activated in a particular tenant:
Segmentation restarts.
The corresponding mapping between Campaign and the segment is reactivated.
Scheduled tasks resume.
A new List ID is generated.
