This section helps you configure the various requirements with respect to running your email campaigns.
Define and configure an email server along with associated email accounts. Administrators can set up email accounts, allowing the system to connect with external mail services such as POP3, SMTP, or IMAP servers.
When you configure your email server, you can perform the following tasks:
Receive emails from your customers and enable agents to respond to them.
Send email messages as part of your outbound campaigns.
Add Email Server
To add a new email server:
Click Create Email Server.
Enter an Email Configuration Name to identify the email server in the system.
Select the email server type from SMTP or SendGrid. This selection determines the method used to send and receive emails.
If you select SendGrid, provide the following details:
Enter the Email API Token to authenticate and enable communication with the SendGrid server.
Enter the Sender Email address to specify the email account that sends messages.
Enter the Reply To email address to receive replies from recipients.
If you select SMTP, provide the following details to configure the server:
Enter the Sender Email address to specify the email account that sends messages.
Enter the Reply To email address to receive replies from recipients.
Configure the Outgoing Mail Server:
Enter the SMTP Server IP Address and SMTP Port number to establish server connectivity.
Enter the User Name to access the server.
Enter the Password to authenticate the user.
Configure the Incoming Mail Server:
Enter the POP3 or IMAP Server IP Address and POP3/IMAP Port number for incoming mail retrieval.
Enter the User Name to access the server.
Enter the Password to authenticate the user.
Click Save to complete and save the email server setup.
Update or Delete Email Server
Select an email configuration name and click Edit.
Update the details and click Save.
Select an email configuration name and click Delete.
Click Ok on the confirmation pop up.

Email Configuration Name | A name to identify the email configuration in the system |
Server Type | The type of email server used for sending or receiving emails, such as SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) or SendGrid (an email delivery service). |
Sender Email | The email address from which messages will be sent, appearing as the From address to recipients. |
Reply to | The email address where recipients’ responses are directed, usually different from the sender’s address. This field is optional. |
SMTP | A protocol used to send emails from the sender's email client or server to the recipient's server. It manages the transmission of outgoing emails. |
SMTP Port | A network port number used by the SMTP server to process email sending requests. |
User Name | The identifier, often an email address, used to log in to the SMTP server for sending emails. |
Password | A secret key or phrase used to authenticate the user accessing the SMTP server. |
POP3/IMAP | The server IP address or hostname used to retrieve incoming emails using POP3 or IMAP protocols. |
POP3/IMAP Port | A network port number used by the POP3 or IMAP server to process email retrieval request. |
Email API Token | A secure key used to authenticate communication with an email service (for example, SendGrid) to send emails. |
