External Provider
- DarkLight
An External Server refers to the setup of an external server to integrate with your system for specific functionalities such as SMS messaging, email delivery, or data processing. External servers act as third-party providers that handle tasks beyond the capabilities of your internal system.
External Provider Configuration
To configure an External Sever, perform the following steps:
Click Create External Server to start configuring a new external server.
Enter the Server Name to uniquely identify the external server in the system. It must be unique and must not overlap with configurations for Email, SMS, or Chatbot credentials.
Enter the Provider ID to specify the identifier associated with the external server’s provider.
Select the Channel from the dropdown list to define the communication medium, such as SMS or Email.
Enter the Send URL, which is the endpoint URL for sending requests to the external server.
Enter the API Key to authenticate the external server securely.
Enter the Secret Key, which works with the API Key to enhance authentication and security.
Click Save to complete and store the external server configuration.
Note:
If any campaign is mapped to an external server for Email or SMS, it will be exported along with the campaign and imported as part of the process. For more information, see Export or Import Campaign.
