    It allows you to export and import the configuration of a campaign. This process includes only the Campaign page, System Configuration page, and the Contacts Strategy page for any given campaign.

    Compliance profiles cannot be imported or exported. Users can import and export all modes and contact strategies. The selected time zones in the campaigns are automatically enabled in the importing environment.

    Points to Consider

    Make a note of the following information while importing or exporting campaigns:

    • Channel settings information is included in the export and import process, except for campaign forms, scripts, and call guides.

    • TimeZone Use Type and TimeZoneRunTime information are included in the import/export operations.

      Note

      If a campaign is imported into version 4.2.1.2501 from a previous version, the TimeZoneRunTime details cannot be imported. Users must manually select the time zone to proceed.

    • If TimeZoneRunType is set to Inherited previously, it changes to Overwrite after importing and users need to manually select the time zone.

    • Information related to the external server and short code is included in the export and import operations. If any campaign is mapped to an External server for Email or SMS, it will be exported along with the campaign and imported as part of the process.

    • The Compliance profiles can neither be imported nor exported.

    • The following modules, if mapped to the campaigns being imported, are also imported: Business Outcome, Holidays, Profile, Email, SMS, and Identity Authentication.

    • All modes and contact strategies can be imported and exported.

    Import/Export a Campaign

    To import a campaign:

    1. Select the Import radio button and click Choose File.

    2. Select the appropriate file to import and click Import.

    To export a campaign:

    1. Select the Export radio button.

    2. Select the appropriate campaign to export and click Export.

    Description

    Campaign

    The name of the campaign.

    Campaign Group

    The name of the campaign group.

    Status

    Indicates whether the import of contacts is completed or pending. It shows the current state of the contact import process.

    Reason

    Reason for failure of any imported contact is failed. It details the cause of the failure in the import process.

    Export

    Campaign

    The name of the campaign.

    Campaign Group

    The name of the campaign group.
