    Article summary

A Five9 Source is automatically created in Data Cloud after a Connection between Data Cloud and Five9 is established. The source name is the connection name with source as suffix. For example, if the connection name is ABC, the source name is ABC_source. By default, this source includes mapping between the Interaction Entity and Five9 call variables.

Viewing the Mapping between the Interaction Entity and Call Variables

Follow these steps to view the mapping between the Interaction entity and call variables in the Five9 source:

    1. Navigate to Sources.

    2. Click the appropriate Five9 source. The Five9 Source page displays the Mapped Attributes tab showing the following details:

      • Interaction Entity

      • Attributes

      • Call Variable Groups

      • Call Variables

    Note:

The Scheduler and Delete options are not available for a Five9 source. Deleting a Five9 connection removes the corresponding Five9 source automatically.

Updating the Mapping between the Interaction Entity and Call Variables

Follow these steps to update the mapping between the Interaction entity and call variables:

    1. Navigate to Sources and click Map Attributes under the Five9 source you want. The Five9 source page is displayed.

    2. Click the Attribute Mapping tab.

    3. In the Entities column, click Interaction.

    4. Select the required options in the Attributes, Call Variable Groups, and Call Variables columns.

      Note:

The column name includes a mention of the total number of entries available in the respective column. E.g., Attributes-7 denotes there are seven attributes available in the list.

    5. Click Map.

    6. Click Save on the top of the page. The updated mapping is saved, and is displayed in the Mapped Attributes tab.

Deleting the Mapping between Interaction and Call Variables

You can delete call variable mappings, but not all of them. You must keep at least one mapping for the Interaction entity.

Follow these steps to delete a mapping:

    1. Navigate to Sources and click Map Attributes under the Five9 source you want. The Five9 source page is displayed.

    2. Select the mapping that you want to delete. The Delete Selected option becomes active on the top of the page.

    3. Click Delete Selected.

    4. Click Save on the top of the page. The selected mapping is deleted.
