General Settings

The General Settings page helps you configure various URLs, endpoints, and credential requirements to access data from Acqueon Data Cloud via APIs. These configurations are used by Acqueon Workspace to access and populate data from Acqueon Data Cloud on the Customer Profile and the Customer Activity widgets.

Access

To access the General Settings page, follow the steps:

1. Log in to the Workspace admin application using your credentials.

2. You are taken to the AE admin page on successful login.

3. From the dropdown menu on the title bar, select Configurator to navigate to the Configurator page.

4. In the Configurator page, from the main navigation menu on the left pane, select Widget Configuration > General Settings.

Acqueon Data Cloud Configurations

Complete the following information on this page:

1. API Host URL – Provide the API Host URL. This is the URL that the application requires to access the Acqueon Data Cloud APIs to fetch data for the widget. For example, https://g4qps9e8ud.execute-api.us-east-1.amazonaws.com.

2. API Key – Provide the API Key for the above URL. This key is the credential for the Workspace application to access Acqueon Data Cloud via the URL above.

3. API Environment – Type the Acqueon Data Cloud environment that the application accesses. For example, Dev, Prod, or QA could be some environments that could be accessed.

4. Amazon Cognito Host URL - Provide the Host URL that the application calls when authenticating an access request. For example, https://acqueonqa.auth.us-east-1.amazoncognito.com.  

5. Amazon Cognito Client ID - Provide a unique client ID for this client to access Amazon Cognito.

6. Amazon Cognito Client Secret Key - Provide the Client Secret Key for the above Client ID to complete authentication and provide access to Amazon Cognito.

7. Click Save.
