Installing the Salesforce Unmanaged Package

To install the unmanaged package from URL, follow the steps below.

1. Copy the unmanaged package URL to the browser address bar - https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04t5w000000glJ0

2. Replace the login.salesforce.com (that is, domain URL) by instance URL of your org.

3. Follow the after-login instructions to install the unmanaged package.

4. Enter the Username and Password for Salesforce. Click Log In.

5. Select the appropriate install type from the following:

   1. Install for Admins only

   2. Install for all users

   3. Install for specific profiles

6. Select the checkbox to acknowledge authorization. Click Install.

7. A message describing the progress appears. A confirmation message appears after the installation is completed. It takes anywhere from 1 to 30 minutes, depending on the size of package and sandbox, to complete the installation.

   

8. On successful installation, this is listed under the Installed Packages list. You can find it by typing the name in the Quick Find box. The package name is listed below the other packages installed tab.

   

9. You can update the Display Name, if you want to change it.

10. Click Save.
