Single Sign-On (SSO) is a convenient feature that allows users to access multiple applications and services with just one user account. Acqueon Data Cloud supports SSO, enabling users to log in seamlessly using credentials from a trusted identity provider. By default, Data Cloud uses Amazon Cognito as its identity platform and also it supports third-party OIDC providers. While Cognito does not natively support SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language), it can integrate with a third-party identity provider (IDP) that supports SAML through Cognito.

For example, you can configure Cognito to work with an IDP like Okta, which supports SAML, allowing users to authenticate through Okta while Cognito manages their access to Data Cloud.

Logging in

To log in:

1. Access the URL - https://FQDN

2. Provide your user ID. The OIDC Login page is displayed.

   Note:

   The OIDC Login page of the respective OIDC provider is displayed. If you are a Cognito user, the Cognito Login page is displayed. For third-party OIDC providers, their specific login page is displayed.

3. Type your user credentials and click Sign in. The home page is displayed.

Forgot your password

If you forget your password, you can reset your password and as an administrator, you can also initiate password resets for other users.

Reset your password

To reset your password:

1. Access the URL - https://FQDN

2. On the sign-in window, click Forgot your password?

3. Provide your registered email address in the Username field and click Reset my password.

4. Enter the four-digit verification code that is sent to your mailbox for resetting the password.

5. In the Change Password pop-up, enter the Code and the New Password, and confirm the new password in the respective fields.

6. Click Change Password. After validating your new password with the password parameters, the sign-in pop-up is displayed to log in.
