Object Relationships

When ingesting data into Data Cloud, it's important to understand how to handle object relationships. Each object involved in the data ingestion process must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Unique Identifier: Each object you want to ingest needs a unique identifier to keep track of each record properly.

• Multiple Objects: For multiple objects, ensure each one has its unique identifier. Additionally, these objects should have a common identifier that links to the profile record.

• Multiple Custom Object records: Multiple Custom Object records, each with a unique identifier, can be linked to a single Profile using the Profile link. This establishes a one-to-many relationship between the Custom Object records and the Profile Object. In this way, you can associate multiple Custom Object records with a single Profile.
