    Article summary

    When you are available and receive a call, the softphone rings and the Answer and Reject buttons appear. If you do not answer within 20 seconds (configured time in Amazon Connect) or decline the call, it is placed back in the Queue to wait for the next Available Agent.

    When you are available, the call control panel appears under the contact number.

    To answer the call:

    Click the Answer button in the call control tab to answer the call, or click the Reject button to decline the call.

    Note:

    You can configure answer wait time in Amazon Connect.

    If the caller has previously called and already has a profile in your softphone, you will be able to see their name and organization in addition to the information shown in the image above.
