Sending DTMF

This feature allows you to enter numbers that automated call systems recognize, such as an account number or a menu selection, during an active call. Sending Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) commands is supported during active calls only.
Inbound
To send DTMF commands on an active phone call:
On an active call, click the TonePad button.
Use the dial pad to press the digits that correspond to the DTMF command.
Note:
The Agent must enter the digits within the DTMF timeout as set by an Administrator.
Outbound
In an Outbound Call, DTMF is available only to external consult call and phone number using Dial Pad.
To send DTMF commands on an external consult call or phone number:
On an active consult call, click the TonePad button.
Use the dial pad to press the digits that correspond to the DTMF command.

The agent must enter the digits within the DTMF timeout as set by an administrator.
