Steps to Enable or Disable PII Data Masking

You can enable or disable data masking by activating or deactivating data masking toggles.

Follow these steps to activate or deactivate PII data masking toggles:

1. Navigate to Data Model. The Data Model page is displayed.

2. Click the PII Data tab.

3. Select the appropriate entity in the Entities dropdown list. The list of attributes corresponding to the selected entity is displayed.

4. Click Edit. The attributes appear in the edit mode where three toggles Show in Profile, Mask on Screen, and Mask in Data Export appear against each attribute.

   Note:

   You cannot edit the entities when you select the All option in the Entities dropdown list.

5. Navigate to the attribute for which you want to enable data masking.

6. Activate or deactivate the toggles based on your requirement.

7. Click Save. A confirmation message is displayed.
