    Prerequisites

    1. Ensure the package Installation URL is ready to be installed on targeted Salesforce Org.

    2. As an admin, verify that the appropriate permissions are available to Download AppExchange Packages.

    Check Permissions

    Follow the steps below to check if permissions are available to download AppExchange Packages.

    1. Login to Salesforce org.

    2. Navigate to Setup.

    3. Enter Profiles in the Quick Find box.

    4. Select the User Role.

    5. Click System Permissions.

    6. Verify the permission for Download AppExchange Packages.

    Steps to Install

    1. Install the Unmanaged Package by copying the package <URL> in browser address bar. To install in your Salesforce org, replace login.salesforce with the respective string in package URL. Here is the latest unmanaged package URL: https://acqueontechnologiesinc-dev-ed.develop.lightning.force.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04t5i000000AjHL

    2. Enter the Username and Password. Click Log In to Salesforce.

    3. Select the preferred option to install from the following:

      1. Install for Admins only

      2. Install for All Users

      3. Install for Specific Profiles

    4. Acknowledge the authorization by selecting the appropriate checkbox.

    5. Click Install.

      Note

      Enter the Installation Key only when the package is protected by an installation Key/Password. If the package is not protected by a Key/Password, this text box is not displayed.

    6. An installation progress message appears followed by a confirmation message once the package installation is completed. It may take between 1 and 30 minutes for installation to complete - depending on the package size and org.

    7. The application sends an email confirmation (to the logged-in user’s email address) after the successful installation of the package or in case of any failures.

    8. After successful installation, check for the package availability under the Installed packages section. To check the installed package:

      1. Log in to Salesforce org.

      2. Navigate to the Installed Packages section in the Setup.

      3. Verify the package name in the list.

    Steps to Uninstall

    To install an upgraded version of the unmanaged package, uninstall the existing package and then install the new package.

    Follow the steps to uninstall the package:

    1. Log in to Salesforce org.

    2. In the Setup page, navigate to the Installed Packages section.

    3. Navigate to Setup > Quick find box > permission set> (AD Salesforce Administrator/ AD Service Agents) > Manage Assignment > select All user > Remove User.

    4. Remove SCV users using Acqueon Workspace from the permission sets for:

      1. AD Salesforce Administrator

      2. AD Service Agents

    5. Remove the Package components from the AD_Admin app utility bar.

      1. Remove AddesktopIframeAura component from the utility bar in the Ad admin app. Navigate to Setup > Quick find box > App Manager> AD_Admin (Edit) > Utility Items (Desktop Only) > Select(Addesktopiframeaura ) > Remove (Click) > Save.

      2. Remove utilityWidgetComponent from the utility bar in the Ad admin app. Navigate to Setup > Quick find box > App Manager> AD_Admin (Edit) > Utility Items (Desktop Only) > Select(utilityWidgetComponent) > Remove (Click) > Save.

    6. If you have added any Package components to the Service Console utility bar, remove them.

      1. Remove AddesktopIframeAura component from the utility bar in the Sales or Service Console. Navigate to Setup > Quick find box > App Manager> Sales or Service Console (Edit) > Utility Items (Desktop Only) > Select (Addesktopiframeaura ) > Remove (Click) > Save.

      2. Remove utilityWidgetComponent from the utility bar in the Sales or Service Console. Navigate to Setup > Quick find box > App Manager> Sales or Service Console (Edit) > Utility Items (Desktop Only) > Select (utilityWidgetComponent) > Remove (Click) > Save.

    7. Locate the Package Acqueon_LWC and click the Uninstall button.

    8. Scroll down to select Save a copy of this package's data for 48 hours after uninstall.

    9. After uninstallation is completed, you can click the Data button under the Action column to download the data.

    10. The data is downloaded to a zipped file. This contains the data in CSV files for each object that you can import into Salesforce.

    Reload Data from Previous Uninstall

    After uninstalling the package, install the new package before you reload the data to the new package. By doing this, you must configure again as explained below.

    1. You must use the workbench tool to insert the data.

    2. Load the workbench tool using this URL: https://workbench.developerforce.com/login.php?startUrl=%2Fquery.php

    3. Select the environment type in which you wanted to load the data and click Login with Salesforce.

    4. The Salesforce login page is displayed. Login with your org credentials.

    5. The workbench tool needs access. Click Allow Access.

    6. After successful login, the page redirects you to the workbench home screen. Click the data tab and select the Insert operation.

    7. Select the Object type for which you have to reload data. You must select the object type for each CSV file downloaded as part of the Zip file. To start, select the first CSV file AD_Desktop__c.

    8. Click and choose the downloaded CSV file (as per the instructions in the previous section). Open the Object file for which the you want to reload data.

    9. Select the file and click Next.

    10. Next, map the fields of CSV file with the object fields. The application maps the fields automatically. Verify the mapping and click Map Fields.

    11. Click Confirm Insert.

    12. The data is inserted. View the result with the status. You can also download the success file containing the results of the data reload.

    13. Repeat steps 7 to 12 for each CSV file that you have to reload.
