    Article summary

Single Sign-On (SSO) users are configured through a third-party SSO identity provider. This setup allows users to log in to multiple applications or websites seamlessly with a single set of credentials, improving convenience and security. To add a new user, click Add User.

    User Name and Password

    1. Enter the User name.

    2. Select the User Type from the following:

      1. Admin: The user is an Administrator for the application and has full rights across all the modules.

      2. User: The user is an administrator and has restricted rights only.

    3. For authentication type, select SSO.

SSO is the single sign-on protocol. These users are configured on a third-party identity authentication service provider. When the user logs in to the application, the validation of the user name and password is done by the SSO identity service provider. Upon successful validation, the user gets access to the application.

    4. Password, Confirm Password, and the Domain Name fields are disabled. The application authenticates the user via the third-party SSO provider.

    5. Enable SF Credentials toggle icon if the user handles Service Cloud Voice campaigns.

    6. Enter the SF User name.

    7. Enter the SF Password.

    8. Enter the SF Token details.

      Note:

SF Token is not a mandatory field. If you do not enter a token, the Service Cloud Voice application validates the users based on the SF Username and SF Password fields configured above.

    1. Click VALIDATE SF CREDENTIAL to complete user authentication.

    2. Set the Concurrent Login switch ON if you allow the user to log in to the application concurrently. If you set this switch OFF, the application logs out the user from the earlier login after receiving confirmation.

    3. Go to the User Info section.

    User Info

    1. Enter the Home Phone number of the user.

    2. Enter the Mobile number of the user.

    3. Enter the City that the user belongs.

    4. Enter the State that the user is from.

    5. Enter the Zip code for the home location.

    6. Enter the user’s Email address.

    7. Complete the Address1 and Address2 fields.

    8. Enter any Comments.

    9. Click Save to complete.
