Manage Layouts

When you open the Layout page, each configured layout is displayed as a tile. Manage layouts using one of the following options:
- Edit 
- Clone 
- Export 
- Delete 
Edit a Layout
To edit a layout, follow the steps:
- Click the Edit icon on the layout to edit. This displays the layout with the widgets and softphone (if any) in place. 
- Click Settings on the Layout Header to open the Layout Configuration page. 
- Edit the fields that require changes. Edit fields in other tabs of the layout also, if needed - Note - You cannot edit the (Layout) Name. 
- Click Save. 
Clone a Layout
If you need another layout in your application with the same settings, you can use the Clone functionality instead of creating a new one from scratch.
To clone a layout, follow the steps:
- Click the Clone icon on the layout that you want to clone. 
- In the Clone Layout overlay, type a Name for the cloned layout. 
- Click the Clone Layout button. The cloned layout is now displayed as another layout tile. 
Export a Layout
Export Layout is a functionality that helps you export the complete layout settings to a txt file.
To export a layout, follow the steps:
- Click the Export icon on the layout that you want to clone. 
- The layout is exported as a text file (txt) to your Downloads folder. 
You can use this txt file to create another layout on your application by ‘importing’ the settings. Refer point 3 in Layout Settings.
Delete a Layout
To delete a layout, follow the steps:
- Click the Delete icon on the layout that you want to delete. 
- A popover message appears as below: - Important - All information associated to this <Layout Name> will be permanently deleted. This operation cannot be undone. Are you sure you want to delete this <Layout Name>? 
- Click the OK button to delete the layout.
